Handpainted Sign Tutorial
I just LOVE how this turned out. I started with a cabinet door
that I got at a local hardware store for $2.
I free handed on the vintage doorknob because the FRENCH
that I got at a local hardware store for $2.
I painted it with Old White Chalk Paint. I did the detailing with
Provence Chalk Paint. I got my vintage french wording from The Graphics Fairy

I sanded and distressed. I then used a little dark wax and clear wax and was finished.
LOOKS GREAT HOW DID YOU TRANSFER THE GRAPHICS?

oooh boy, love how you re-do throwaways and old stuff. Where in the west are you girls? I live in Western Co by the Utah border. One of my favorite things to do is redo things and be able to vision how it would look redone. To me that's half the fun, being able to make decorative use of something. I'm off to Habitat Restore to look for cabinet doors. Been looking for pallets also to make signs.
