Hello Chalk Paint...I Think I LOVE You!!! Stereo Cabinet Redo

I scored this old stereo cabinet off of craigslist...FREE section!!!  Cha CHING!!!!

I took out the 8 track and record player, and then took out speakers.
I also pulled off the ugly nylon rope fabric covering the speakers.
My lovely husband cut a board for the top where the schtuff was,
and two small boards to go over the holes where the speakers once were.

I painted the entire cabinet with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint.
This stuff is miracle paint.
I did not sand, prime, just PAINTED IT.
I used the color "provence".

I hot glued the fabric onto the boards and then put back the panels.
I then rubbed on Annie Sloan's soft wax in Rustic all over the piece.
I then put everything back together.
I covered the speaker holes with this beautiful fabric from JoAnn's.
I wanted to add an unexpected pop of color.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this paint.
It ROCKS!!  I love how this piece turned out.
Even my husband didn't see the potential.
