Beach Front Property
We were guest bloggers at Country Chic Cottage
for her Beach Bash this month. In case you missed it here was our post.
Today we are going to share one of favorite types of projects:
A Before & After Transformation.
We absolutely LOVE treasure hunting and finding awesome pieces of furniture that
we can restore or bring back to life, and sometimes make better than their original state!
I found this nightstand at a garage sale for $2
My lovely assistant, Wilson posing with my paint. I painted the top and trim with Restoration Hardware
"Silver Sage". RH paint is awesome. I had some from a room I had painted.
I painted the main body "creamy" from Sherwin Williams.
I had a blast staging this item. We are in Kansas, so we headed to a nearby Sand pit.
I glazed the entire piece with Ralph Lauren glaze tinted with Expresso Bean.
I painted a starfish on top and added the cool text.
Very cool. Love it. What an awesome job! Love the star wish and your assistant poses very well.

ReplyDeleteWow! I love the pairing of the Silver Sage with the Creamy. Gorgeous color combo. Really nice transformation. Visiting from TT&J :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute - one of those big clunky end tables from the 70s that now looks oh so fresh in the center spotlight. Clever touches and very artful paint finishing! Now I wish I had one of those clunky old tables around here somewhere... :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love the saying and love the colors you chose! :)
